I was wondering why Louise Mensch former EMI and Sony music business employee) has spent the entire day on TV and Radio supporting Rupert Murdoch. People who support the indefensible usually have a motive, albeit hidden. So then I remembered who she married last year, Peter Mensch, the multi millionaire New York based manager of Mettalica who has also worked with the Rolling Stones and others on live gigs. Surely Rupert Murdoch couldn’t have designs on entering the lucrative live music business could he? Live concerts on cable TV would be a good fit? Well he already has, in Australia and no doubt will soon be rolling this out in the USA……could there be a connection? Surely not! Or has Ms. Mensch been rumbled?
